Danau Sunter Utara Bridge Repaired

The repair will finish at the end of December

After having damaged since last May, the North Jakarta Public Works Sub-Department finally began to repair the bridge of Danau Sunter Utara. However before being repaired, the bridge would be demolished first and then be re-built.

As planned, bridge construction that had broken and collapsed will finish until at the end of this year.

All this time, people who want to cross had to use another bridge on Jalan Danau Sunter, Sunter Agung, Tanjung Priok.

"The repair will finish at the end of December," said Head of North Jakarta Road Public Works Sub-Department, Monang Ritonga, Wednesday (9/3).

Previously, such bridge had a length of 8 meters and 7 meters width. To restore its function, the length and its width would be made the same as before.

"We allocate Rp 1.8 billion to repair the bridge. While repair for the Sindang Bridge had to be delayed due to inadequate time," he exclaimed.
